Start a Project With SCO CIC

Build the work you care about. We can carry the business end.

We help volunteers, grassroots groups and nonprofit project leads turn good ideas into workable projects. If there is a strong free support route in Sheffield, we will point you there first. If you want to build under SCO CIC, we can help with the structure behind the scenes so you can focus on delivery.

  • You keep the identity, direction and creative freedom.
  • We can help with structure, admin, budgets and funding applications.
  • Any income SCO CIC generates goes back into the CIC and into more projects.

Live projects like Industrial Elements and 09 Murals are the proof of concept.

Closer to a collective than an agency.

A lot of people have the idea, the relationships and the energy, but not the time or experience to manage forms, budgets, admin and funding applications. That is where SCO CIC can help.

Keep It Yours

The project should still feel like your project. You keep the vision. We help with the structure around it.

What We Handle

We can support with setup, budgets, admin, funding applications, planning and practical next steps.

Reinvested Income

Anything SCO CIC generates goes back into the CIC and into supporting more projects, not private profit extraction.

Built Through Practice

Our work includes Industrial Elements and 09 Murals, alongside wider funding experience including EU funding and theatre and arts funding for dance.

If there is a good free route, we will point you there.

We try to offer free help wherever we can, and we do not want to duplicate support that already exists in Sheffield. These are good places to start if you need advice, opportunities or funding guidance.
